Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer
Hands-on senior IC role: Kubernetes, Terraform, observability, security, and reliability, with real ownership over infrastructure architecture.
What you'll own
- Design, build, and operate Orus's multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Enable portable infrastructure across customer environments
- Improve observability, security, and system reliability
- Deploy and operate applications using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Design and build CI/CD pipelines, owning end-to-end automation of build, test, and deployment workflows for infrastructure and application code
- Build and maintain a reusable automation framework for day-to-day DevOps and developer workflows: environment provisioning, secret rotation, dependency updates, compliance checks, release management
- Automate operational runbooks and recurring processes; identify manual work across engineering and eliminate it through scripts, pipeline stages, and self-service tooling
- Partner closely with product and platform engineers to unblock delivery
- Champion an automation-first mindset: if something is done twice, it should be automated; if it's automated, it should be observable and maintained like production code
What you need
- 3+ years experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proven track record designing and owning CI/CD systems, pipeline architecture, GitOps-driven deployments, and release automation
- Experience building automation frameworks for DevOps and developer workflows, including scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) and self-service tooling
- Strong networking fundamentals
- Proven experience deploying and operating real production systems
Nice to have
- Experience with GitOps controllers (FluxCD, ArgoCD, or similar)
- Understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps: security gates, SBOM generation, compliance checks in CI/CD
- Experience in startups and/or big tech environments
- A genuine passion for clean, unified infrastructure and best practices
