AI Ops engineer

Make Orus run on AI at every layer: company brain, internal tooling, GTM, and the automations that compound over time.

What you'll own

  • Identify the highest-leverage automation opportunities across the company, partnering directly with functional leads across GTM, product, and ops
  • Build and deploy AI agents, automations, and internal tooling, using code-first approaches or modern low-code platforms depending on what's right for the job
  • Own adoption end-to-end, not just the build
  • Work closely with the engineering team to understand what we're building technically, and contribute to developer productivity workflows
  • Build automations that make engineers faster
  • Build and maintain internal knowledge systems that compound in value over time

What you need

  • 2+ years in technical operations, solutions engineering, internal tools, or a technical product role, close to engineering teams and knowing how to work with them, not just around them
  • Genuinely technical: comfortable with code-first approaches, able to prototype real workflows, not just wire together low-code tools
  • Hands-on with modern AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, n8n, Clay, Gumloop, or similar), with strong opinions about when to use what
  • A sharp process thinker: spots inefficiency fast, prioritises ruthlessly, designs solutions that actually get adopted
  • High ownership, low ego: as comfortable doing the hands-on build as presenting a business case to leadership

Nice to have

  • Experience contributing directly to engineering productivity workflows, not just adjacent to them
  • Background working in or alongside early-stage startups
  • Commercial awareness sharp enough to know which problems are actually worth solving
