Deployed Strategist

Own the path from ambiguous customer need to shipped outcome: discovery, requirements, and production on Orus, then feed field signal back into product.

You'll dig into complex customer workflows, partner with their teams on the data, and learn the product landscape so Orus can scale. The work calls for curiosity, analytical rigor, product intuition, and sharp user insight.

What you'll own

Run process discovery: break ambiguous, cross-system problems into what's actually worth solving
Translate messy customer needs into requirements and drive them to delivered outcomes on Orus
Filter signal from noise across competing stakeholders and conflicting asks
Partner with GTM on technical boundaries in sales, including SOWs and collateral
Present results and proposals to audiences from analysts to C-suite, and build demos for new and existing customers
Drive adoption from pilot to production with Forward Deployed Engineers
Embed with Product and Engineering to fold what you see in the field into the Orus platform
Lead on-site training and workshops; travel up to ~50%, with 2–3 days a week at the customer when needed

What you need

2+ years in a high-ownership, customer-facing role: deployed strategist, technical consultant, solutions/sales engineer, PM, or solution architect
Technical fluency to reason about software systems, read architecture, and hold your own with engineers: strong data concepts and Python
A track record of taking ambiguous, high-stakes problems from zero to delivered
Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfort operating under ambiguity, travel, and fast-moving deployments

Nice to have

Founder experience
Background in ERP, system integration, or enterprise IT
Experience shaping product roadmap from the field
